JUST LISTED: 1054 N. Garfield Ave, Pasadena

What if you could have it all – the luxuries of a modern home with the charm of a vintage home? Welcome to 1054 N Garfield Avenue in Pasadena.

Custom-built in 2003 in the heart of the Garfield Heights Landmark District, this home perfectly marries the character of a classic Victorian Painted Lady with all the conveniences of newer construction. With her gleaming hardwoods and grand staircase, bay windows with leaded glass, salvaged wainscoting, coffered ceilings, pocket doors, reclaimed fireplaces and turn-of-the-century light fixtures, you will be transported to a period when no expense was spared.

Incorporating the best of modern amenities as well: an updated kitchen with quartz countertops; new bathroom tile & fixtures, frameless glass showers, a jetted jacuzzi tub; dual-zone central heat & air, a central vacuum cleaner and so much more. Start the day on your master suite patio, spend the afternoon lounging on the back deck and enjoy evenings under the stars in your gazebo. All this plus a finished 2-car garage, a large office, a separate laundry room, and a full 3rd floor attic for storage. You can truly have it all at 1054 N Garfield, welcome to The Good Life.

Asking $1,175,000. Open Sunday September 25 from 1pm – 4pm.

SOLD: 1310 N. Avenue 56 in Highland Park

Congrats to my buyers on their super cool remodeled Highland Park Spanish home!

I remember when this home hit the market in distress last year, what a wonderful transformation the sellers have made with their remodel and what a score for my buyers. In addition to 3 bedrooms and 2 baths in the main house (not to mention closets as big as a small bedroom), there is a second detached structure with a separate garage and not 1 but 2 sparkling new studio spaces complete with private entrances, kitchenettes, and bathrooms. They could host friends and family in one and have a nanny live in the other, air bnb one or both, use one as a home office and one as a screening room or playroom, the possibilities are endless. All within walking distance to the shops and restaurants on York, this is Highland Park living at it’s finest.

SOLD: 728 N Avenue 63 in Highland Park

Another bittersweet sale. This adorable home AT 728 N Avenue 63 got 14 offers within the first week and went $81,000 over asking but Los Angeles lost some lovely people to Brooklyn. In a perfect twist the new buyers for this home moved to LA from Brooklyn so I guess we can call it a trade. Congrats to my sellers on their new adventure and congrats to the buyers on their super cute new Garvanza digs!
